We want to thank Susan Jenkins and team. Susan went beyond our expectations. We both worked and you always worked around our schedule. You worked all hours and answered all questions immediately. You made us number one to make sure we understood the process and paperwork. Susan has a great internet marketing skills. She had photographer and virtual photographer make our home look beautiful along with a nice wooden sale sign in the yard. Many people remarked the company takes pride in their work! Therefore with advertising skills we had people for three days straight all day long with many contracts. We were so excited because of her knowledge, our home went way beyond what we expected! We were able to buy our dream home in DE. She connected us with an agent in DE. Susan signed us up with Military Rewards program which gave cash rewards, a great help when moving. Kevin was a horrible agent for buying and selling our house. The pictures for our house for sale were terrible. I had to replace some with my own. His attention to detail was abysmal. The house we bought with him required me to do a lot of the closing leg work while I was on vacation. He did not even show up for the actual closing walk thru. I would never ever work with this agent ever again.

I listed and sold my home with Susan and her team. I could not have had a better experience in that she took proactive and specific actions throughout the selling process based on my specific situation to secure what far exceeded my expected result. Specifically, in my case, I invested in significant updates to my property and sold during a seller's market which resulted in a market situation where homes that sold above recent comparables were not appraising at the higher market prices. First, Susan and her team understood that no one knew my property better than me and she placed value in that - by understanding the fundamental and critical reasons I felt my property was worth what I though. Second, she was clear from the start about the process, risks, and approach she would take after evaluating the house, the market, the likely appraised value - specifically in this case, knowing we would likely get a higher than comparable sale price (based on the market but also recommendations for last minute changes for marketability, an exceptional staging, and finally a strategic asking price), she proactively planned the data to present to an appraiser which would appropriately support the sale price. Finally, she and her team followed up on every aspect that they presented from the beginning and secured what I believe was a better sale price than even I could have expected. In my experience, most realtors will come in and assess the property/market and give you a proposed asking price and tell you why it won't appraise for more or why it's not worth what you think it's worth based on comparables. In many cases, this may be appropriate in that the seller doesn't have the backup, concrete justifications to support a higher price. But every circumstance is different - my main point is that the reason I got the best price for my home is because Susan did the critical and extra work necessary to go above and beyond the status quo (list, sell at a conservative price that we know we can close at, inspect/appraise, close) to get that BEST price based on my situation. There is no doubt in my mind that she would do the same for you in your circumstance.
